To make our communities safer, we cannot rely on software alone—we need people on the ground. That is why we are officially launching the ProteaSafe Partners network, and we want you to join us!

ProteaSafe Partners is a voluntary network of community-minded citizens and organisations working to restore trust in local trade. Partners are the heartbeat of this project: they conduct background checks, visit local spaza shops, scan barcodes, and audit inventory to make sure everything on display is certified authentic and safe.

Because this is a voluntary program where you donate your time and leadership, we want to make sure your contribution is professionally recognised. We have set up a Professional Rank Pathway so that you can gain formal organisational experience, build compliance skills, and level up:

• Level 1: Field Inspector: Your entry point. You will visit local shops, perform legitimacy checks on stock, and log scans.
• Level 2: Certified Auditor: Level up by submitting consistent audits. You will help stores resolve verification disputes and flag supplier discrepancies.
• Level 3: Senior Safety Officer: Experienced inspectors who coordinate audits in their local neighbourhoods and help train new partners.
• Level 4: Compliance Lead: Senior leaders who audit large wholesale suppliers and coordinate directly with regional distributors.
• Level 5: Regional Director: The highest organisational rank. You will direct regional compliance policies and lead district safety campaigns.

By volunteering as a partner, you are not just helping secure local trade; you are gaining documented, professional experience in compliance auditing, area coordination, and supply chain management. When your application is approved, you will receive an official offer and acceptance letter designating your starting rank.
